Pam Wood, LPC,  LAT  She/Her

As a Licensed Art Therapist, Pam creates a space where the creative process can aid in your healing. Pam has 30 years of experience working in schools, day treatment centers and community mental health clinics, and works with children, teens and adults. She is trained in EMDR and Lifespan Integration.

With a warm and supportive style, Pam uses a trauma-informed, intersectional, strengths-based approach. She has supported clients through grief and loss, anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting challenges, learning disabilities, abuse/neglect, foster placement, parental substance abuse, divorce and racial trauma, and has years of experience working with LGBTQiA+, immigrants, and refugees.

As a single parent of two foster-adopted kids (now teens), Pam knows first-hand how early trauma affects a child’s development and brings unique challenges to parenting.  She is a dedicated student in the neurobiology of stress and trauma, and enjoys supporting adoptive kids and parents.  Pam integrates art therapy, narrative therapy, attachment theory, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, Lifespan Integration and EMDR into her work with clients.
