Margaret has over 29 years of experience working in various areas of the field of mental health. Specializing in trauma, dissociation, abuse, adoption, attachment, loss and grief, and life transitions. Her background in counseling, teaching, and life experiences have led her to a multivariate approach when collaborating with clients and the people who support them.

She is an EMDR Certified Therapist, trained in EMDR Flash, Lifespan Integration (working towards certification), Internal Family Systems, Sensory Integration, Structural Dissociation, and Neuroeducation. She works with each client through a learning process anchored in movement to treat at the root cause and move beyond defense mechanisms, in order to integrate adaptive information, move towards a more balanced system, resulting in positive connections with self, and others.

She has been with her husband for 37 years. They have two adopted children and a biological son with severe complex neurological conditions resulting in severe developmental behaviors, emotions, social issues, and medical challenges.

In her free time, she enjoy learning, reading, painting, art, playing games, walking, hiking, and gathering with friends and family.
