Ashley Davis, She/Her
Ashley is an Art Therapist in training, specializing in grief and trauma. By integrating the creative process and making art in the therapeutic practice, she hopes to provide clients with unique and powerful tools for self-expression, exploration, and healing. Through a combination of methods, art therapy can be effective in helping clients achieve harmony between their emotional, intellectual, spiritual and physical aspects of life. Her goal is to provide a holistic approach that empowers clients to engage with their emotions, build resilience and heal through creative expression.
Ashley’s approach to therapy is both collaborative and client-centered. She believes in partnering with clients, recognizing them as the experts of their own lives, and working together to discover solutions and pathways to healing. She integrates a range of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. As a certified grief counselor, she guides clients through the complexities of grief and trauma with compassion and care.
As an adoptee and single parent, she brings a deep personal understanding of caregiving, personal growth, and the unique challenges of adoption. She is devoted to working with individuals navigating and processing issues related to identity, belonging, trauma, transitions and loss, while fostering a nurturing space for self-discovery and emotional growth. Her ultimate goal is to empower individuals to connect with their authentic selves, access their inner resources and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. She aims to emphasize inclusivity and respect for the diverse experiences that shape each client’s journey.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys anything to do with the outdoors like kayaking, fishing, birding, and whale watching. She also likes reading, running, playing guitar and creating art! She is consistently pursuing additional education and training to expand her existing knowledge and skills for the communities she serves and has plans to become a certified EMDR therapist.
